This presentation will look at how the international standard for service management, ISO/IEC 20000-1 can be used with the well known service management framework, ITIL4.
It will start with an introduction to ISO/IEC 20000-1 for those who are not familiar with it. It then goes on to compare the standard with ITIL4, looking at similarities and differences. Finally, it covers the myths and benefits of using ISO/IEC 2000-1 with or without certification.
Lynda Cooper is the chair of the BSI committee for ISO/IEC 20000 and represents the UK at international level where she is the project editor for part 1. Lynda is an ITIL Master, having applied ITIL to both IT and non-IT services.
Lynda is an experienced speaker, trainer, and consultant supporting organizations to continually improve their service delivery and respond to the fast-changing business environment through the use of standards such as ISO/IEC 20000 and ISO/IEC 27001 with frameworks such as ITIL.
Lynda's enthusiasm for her subject enables her to engage with her audience to make standards interesting and accessible.
